I have been accompanying people through crises, changes and the search for balance for over seven years. I trained as a sociologist and spent my first professional years in a corporate environment (HR and IT). This helps me understand that our difficulties rarely arise in isolation – often they are simply a reaction to the pressure, demands and overstimulation we face every day.
Later my path turned towards helping work. I began by supporting women and couples around the time of birth as a doula, and by working with intimacy as a certified sex coach (a graduate of the American Sex Coach University). I then brought this foundational experience of working with the body and closeness into my psychotherapy practice.
Professional training
I gained my clinical skills first at the Gestalt Counselling Centre (Centrum Counsellingu Gestalt) in Kraków and then at the Institute for Gestalt Training and Education (ITEG) in Rzeszów, where I completed a full psychotherapy training programme. I consolidated my therapeutic experience through a clinical placement on a psychiatric day ward and through working with the Kultura Równości (Culture of Equality) association.
I am a member of the Polish Society for Gestalt Psychotherapy (PTPG) and work according to its code of ethics, as well as the standards of the European Association for Gestalt Therapy (EAGT). My work is under regular group and individual supervision.
Personally
I am a partner in a long-term relationship and a mother of three, with whom I most enjoy board games and travelling. I get around Wrocław by bike every day and recharge on solo hikes in the Tatra and Karkonosze mountains. I value contrasts in life: I like movement and stillness, snow and sun, autumn and spring. In my free time I polish my Czech grammar, and in the evenings I reach for the Eberhard Mock crime novels and classic literature.
